Summer Reading List

http://librarianbrain.files.wordpress.com/2009/08/mpj043952700001.jpg

"Mama, dah abis baca buku ni. Belikan buku baru."

"Ha dah abis? Ni baca betul ke, main langkah-langkah je ni?"

Itulah mama saya.

Who would wanna spend 3 days reading when you can watch a one-and-a-half-hour movie?

Biasanya setiap kali cuti summer, saya akan menyiapkan satu projek penulisan. That's the way it was for the past 3 years. So, 3 tahun = 3 buku. Namun sejak penulisan saya mengenai Fikah Perubatan bersama PTS tergendala, semangat saya untuk menulis sudah luntur.

So, i decided to make a summer reading list instead. I enjoy reading. Maybe because when i was young, my mother was a teacher back then. Well, u know.. Teachers and their disciplines. But she limited it back then, despite of my passion for reading. And i'm SURE that she regrets it now that my little brother grew up not as an avid reader. Not a single book. Nada.

So mama if u're reading this, please know that it's not too late to buy your 'other son' (ahem) books he wanted. They're not cheap nowadays, u know (^_^)
