Imaginary Bubble

Unlike flowing water, stagnant water will eventually become turbid and then..slimy.

An arrow, is only useful and lethal when moving, not being in the quiver.

Also, a rolling stone gathers no moss.*

And surely, a ship is always safe at the shore but that is NOT what it is built for. **

Similarly, a good Muslim will never make a maximum impact on the community if he stays immobile in his comfort zone.

Good muslims need to get out from their imaginary bubbles and start benefiting the muslim ummah in any way possible; and that of course, after they have prepared themselves to be the best in their respective fields.

Be ashamed at those Christian missionaries, who are willing to abandon their worldly life to serve their religion and promoting it to the world, while us muslims are still quarreling on whose jemaah is the best among them. More on that here.

Don't be afraid of changes. A good one, of course. Be an active and also a proactive muslims. Don't just settle down to the minimum requirements of a muslim, or worse. We have a role to play. A reputation to uphold. A religion to promote. Wallahulmusta'aan.

*Well, originally this proverb sees moss as something desirable. But i meant the contemporary interpretation that has turned the traditional understanding on its head ;p
